ANY OTHER BUSINESS:

Hedge on Station Road has been cut which has cleared the footpath.

Loop Road has been tarred and chipped (last done in 1985 August) and repair to hole at bottom of Coalpit Road.

Community Hall Account - Mr Guthrie has proposed that we use the bulk of the money in the Community Account as a short term loan to Kennedy Hall & Park Committee. At the moment this committee is seeking funding to repair the Hall roof. They have almost enough money but will lose one of the Awards if this is not used by the end of the year. This was agreed in principle so long as this is made public by a notice on the Notice Boards.

Angus MacLeod has handed in his resignation as will be moving out of this area.

Web Site? Mr Kruse has agreed to contact Angus to find out what is needed for him to access this site, and see if he could help us here.

LIGHTHOUSE: Mr Kevin Murphy and Mrs Mhairi Eaglesham attended to discuss the the way forward with the lighthouse repairs. Mr Storie gave a short resume of the history of the lighthouse which has researched in great length. We have all been concerned about the deterioration of this landmark and it has been suggested a subcommittee of the Harbour Association is formed and Mr Storie and Mr Guthrie have agreed to be involved. Mr Murphy will get back to us after the next meeting of Dunure Harbour Association.

Meeting closed at 9.10pm and the next meeting will be held on Tuesday 21 September 2010
